I booked a room at this motel for my daughter as I was dropping her off at a school event early the next morning, so I booked more for the low price since it was a quick stay to avoid getting up at 2am and to make the registration time. I was astonished at what I got for my money. I have paid a whole lot more at other places and didn’t get half of what this place offered! Its exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated, effort was put into this place to make it uniquely visually appealing inside and out. I couldn’t believe I paid so little for this room! I’ve never had a better deal on anything ever. The staff was great, very nice, helpful, and friendly. Again, for the price I paid I was expecting the breakfast to be those little sealed cereal bowls of Cheerios, but nope- full breakfast spread, lots of hot foods, and pretty much anything one could want. And- on top of that, they have a full dining room with comfortable real chairs at nice tables. Still can’t believe it. I travel a lot, and I have never paid less than $200 a night for a room this nice, and I paid less than $90!

Consistently above average stay! Breakfast is amazing! Grounds between units are like several groomed parks (shade trees, palm trees, oleanders and flowering trees, grass for one "park" like soace, gravel for another). Interior of old heavy rustic pine for Western atmosphere. Woman who runs breakfast kitchen is a gem of efficiency and attentiveness (And busy! She IS the breakfast everything! I hope they pay her well!!!!). Don't miss the breakfast in a small dining hall with windows facing more expertly groomed gardens, and a fresh real flower on the table, even though it closes early at 9 a.m. (Even though 1/3 of any population are decidedly not morning people biologically, and especially while traveling.) Still, breakfast is not to be missed!

This was a great stay for us while traveling across the country; an attractive property that's probably half the price of the newer chain hotels near the highway. It's away from the interstate so it's quiet, on a wide street that's not busy and it had room to park my small trailer. It's an older motel but is well maintained, convenient enough to town, and the decor was a pretty New Mexican style. The rooms are large and there's plenty of space to work at a desk. There's a courtyard in the middle of the parking lot which is great if you're traveling with a pet. Will stay here again.

Good hot breakfast, more than adequate. This is a 50+-year-old Hotel, that's been constantly improved for the traveler who wants to spend more than a night or two. Love the pool surrounded by all the shrubbery in the middle of the desert. Management is just SUPER, and very friendly and helpful. Even though an old hotel, it'll be our choice next time we come north through Las Cruces, as it very handily "gets the job done" for a traveler.

Terrific! Easy to find location and check in was a breeze. Very courteous staff. Parked in front of my room in well-lit area. The parking lot was clean and free of debris. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Bathroom and dressing room area was very spacious. Breakfast was a full meal and fresh. Again, truly thrilled with the service and room. Thanks so much -- leigh
